A financial services company is seeking a Technical Support Analyst to join their team in Detroit, MI.


  • Handle complex internal and external end-user support issues
  • Provide work direction/mentor others on project team or lower level staff
  • Understand company goals and practices and apply them when resolving problems
  • Use judgment, creativity and sound technical knowledge to obtain and recommend solutions
  • Interface with senior management to convey information
  • Make commitment to ensure that a customers’ needs are met by taking personal responsibility for service and quality
  • Follow up to monitor satisfaction/responds to additional requests/problems quickly
  • Tailor information to appeal to the level and interest of others and prepare for others’ questions or reactions
  • Provide constructive feedback to the team, suggesting actions to improve individual and team performance
  • Assist the team to accomplish its goals beyond his/her assigned work
  • Outline potential cost/savings outcomes of technology use
  • Troubleshoot or address significant limitations or problems of technology applications


  • Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field
  • 4+ years of relevant experience  
  • Able to manage projects for effective customer system support
  • Able to implement quality measures and tracking
  • Able to resolve customer related technical issues
  • Knowledge of specific enterprise wide IT platforms and applications
  • Able to effectively communicate with customers to resolve their issues
  • Able to mentor and provide work direction to project team members or lower level staff
