You will be joining our Accounting team as an Accounts Payable Specialist. This position will take full ownership of assigned  supplier invoices, including data entry and reporting. You will need to have a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills and strong multi-tasking/prioritization abilities. 

What You'll Do

  • Review high volume data entry of invoices, batch invoices with proper backups and approvals for payments processing (both wire and check) for multiple legal entities
  • Review and correct deductions and discrepancies before processing invoices.
  • Resolve discrepancies timely and effectively.
  • Generate A/P aging reports and identify critical issues.
  • Input expenses to their correct general ledger account.
  • Assist with month end tasks.
  • Review and approve Form 1099, and prepare for year end.
  • Process Employee referral fees
  • Onboard new vendors – including W9, remittance instructions, etc.
  • Review customer statements to reconcile past due invoices. Identify any reasons for delays and develop plans with supervisor on how to resolve.
  • Must be able to positively partner with others in the department as necessary to achieve objectives.
  • Special projects, as assigned.


Your Skills

  • 2+ years accounting experience with full cycle A/P
  • Strong analytical and mathematic skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a timely manner by prioritizing tasks
  • Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency required; intermediate to advanced skills ideal
  • Familiarity with MAS 500 is a strong plus
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Bachelor's degree a must!
